There site is down and nobody is home. Another flyby night or have they just closed shop. Very worrying. No body knows...

Hi

Im still around. I am currently busy with a new site called decap.co.za
I am just busy completing the site. I have made some major improvements on the services and will be offering new products. I will still offer the old type of services, but believe my new system is much better.
I was going to announce this as soon as my site was completed.
So keep an eye out for it. I will post a message here as soon as im done.

It uses your address book to forward the virus on.
The message contains a address http://drs..yahoo.com/nocap.co.za/NEWS.

DO NOT CLICK ON IT.

Please make sure your virus scanner is updated and do a full system scan if you have clicked on the address.

I have been one of your oldest customers. I have a R800 package.
I have been trying to contact you constantly. The service for the last month has been terrible. We have been ofline 9 of the 23 days todate. I have called you constantly and begged for reconnections. I am leaving your service and am unhappy about the misleading and untrue stories of new services comming. My advice to anyone using any uncapped service is to Check there credentials and be sure they are genuine. I now sit with no service for my internet café even though I have paid for it. I may be considering legal action as I have your bank account details.

The truth is out.

When you get hold of Jason, I'm sure he will be able to tell you that there is not such thing as unlimited bandwidth and bandwidth cost money.

Most users on this forum simply refuse to acknowledge these simple facts.

Sadad I can empathise 100% with your frustration.
I am also a nocap customer, and I must say they are absolutely shocking in terms of uptime, their so-called 5/1 contention ratio (I'm getting 4k if I'm lucky!!!) and their total lack of customer service.

Perhaps the occasional email to their customers would be a nice gesture!!!

I'm also considering taking further action, including requesting my money back for this month, as it has been useless trying to surf through them!

Hi Everyone

AS from tommorow all servers will be back up and running as standard.
I have had major difficulties during this month, but rest assured it will be back to normal again as from Monday.

I do however appologise for any inconvienience caused to my customers. Please feel free to contact me regarding these matters.

Visit decap.co.za as from tommorow afternoon for a full notice board and description on whats in store for the future. As i said before i have some very exciting new services to offer that i have been working on for a substantial amount of time. I ask every one not to judge My service based on this past months service.

As an internet café. If my service is offline then I loose business. I understand that you have been down a lot during May. Thats fine and We understand that. But We were originally told that We would have 24 service on the R800 package. The problem is when youre offline We have no way to confirm this and no way to get hold of you. This is the problem I have, plus the fact that my customers mainly come in on weekends. Thats unfortunately when youre offline the most. I have had many customers come back twice only to find out that I'm still offline. I am sorry if these notices are unpleasant but Its hard for me to see customers leaving my business because of connectivity issues.

Sadad, as has been mentioned to you before if you want any kind of guaranteed uptime then unfortunately your only option is Diginet. ADSL is not guaranteed either by Telkom or by the various people offering uncapped services. You may have recourse in the amount of R240 for the 9 days you were down but that's about it.

Hi Sadad

I understand the frustration of watching a client leave and i do appologise for any inconvienience caused to you. ADSL is not a guarenteed service, but up till this month the only down times i actualy had was when there where problems on there exchanges. As i mentioned the move to decap has been a very difficult one and today is the day that i have got most of my ducks in a row. This has been very frustrating to me as i have always strived to deliver the best possible service. As from today my service will improve back to how it was. My new lines will be switched on later today. You will know its up when the decap.co.za site has been loaded up. so keep an eye out for that.
