So the people from CellC that were training up some of my staff have been recalled. Apparently AKC wants everyone back for this new "amazing" product to be launched. Pretty weird because some of my staff were in the middle of training. Would love to know whats brewing in the CEO's office.

Going to be amazing.
Cell C is on a new path with AKC steering it.
Just remember things take time especial at this level.

Cool, I see you guys pulled your training staff back from us... this must be big. Cant wait to see what it is :D I see the AKC has brought a lot of energy to CellC. The people I have being dealing with all seem amped recently (when last year they were a bit... tired) :D

Will be interesting to see what he can do with a network they don't own.

You know what would be a massive new product worth having? ...a sodding network that actually WORKS when you go more than a fart in a following wind's distance outside a major metro. By way of example: driving through Magaliesburg on my way to [-]deadhorseville[/-] Rustenburg usually means I get to have no signal - emergency calls only. And the same is often true in Rustenburg outlying environs too. Bear in mind that this is the same Rustenburg that CellC has utterly failed in every way to bring their vaunted 'whoosh' ..and have, here at least, dodged every attempt to find out about when it would be available.

+1
When I'm roaming on the vodascum network I cannot phone ppl, it tells me 'the number does not exist on the network'
I'll remember this choice when it's time to upgrade:
Pay-your-arse-off network for a working network a.k.a vodacom/mtn
Save-a-few-bucks network for something workable only @ home and office

Today announcment 99c per minute anytime, to all networks @true per second rate is great offer. Priority is here... It must be something big on the table for data!

Would love to have proper 3G roaming in the boondocks.

Throttled EDGE roaming is miff, and should be banished to the lower levels of Hades.

Okay, just spoke to someone pretty high in CellC. The data reductions and R99 special are not part of this. The people in CellC call this "Project X", and pretty much anyone involved in it had to sign some hectic NDA documents. Most of CellC dont even know what Project X is about :D

The first rule of Project X is you do not talk about Project X.

I hope Project X takes your current Contract users into account..

All these lovely prepaid data bundles and promotions that we can't access  If anything, it should be even cheaper for contract users!

Moar DATAA!

Why do they insist on naming such things "Project X"? :D
Why not "Project Kick Expensive Prices inna Panty"? :D:D
