A lot depends on what is available in your area. ADSL might be your only viable option or there may be others such as iBurst, 3g, mywireless, etc.

A great deal also depends on how much traffic you're looking at - is the 3gb you have now enough? There are other adsl ISPs besides TelkomInternet that might be able to offer you something more tailored to your needs.

Also depends on what you use the internet for.
If you play games online then adsl is the only way to go, the latency on the other connections is too high for most games.

Satellite is probably too expensive for just a normal residential user

I suggest stick with the adsl but change your isp to either webafrica or openweb

The best option is any openweb package and the webafrica prepaid, that way you can use your openweb local part for the news server and have the prepaid for your international browsing

Go to their respective websites for pricing details

Definitely ADSL - rock solid and always get max speed on both IS and SAIX networks.
Over the past two months my ADSL connection went down only once.

Wireless (satellite, iburst, etc) seem to have serious latency and reliability issues.
Don't even consider them if you're into FPS type gaming.
