What's the longest you've ever kept a cellphone?

Ericsson T28 from a VC contract in 2000. Last time I switched it on was probably 10 years ago. It still had 1/2 battery life. Battery and phone stored separately. No charger for it if i ever need to use it.

My memory is bad, so I'm just going to go with my current phone. HTC One M8. I've had it since late Sept. 2014, so I guess around 2 and a half years? Intend on using it until it dies.

BB curve 8520, 6 years. Was using it for whatsapp up until they blocked it :(

Samsung Galaxy s4 i9505
Upgraded last month after 4years.
Now on a Huawei P9.

Used my iPhone 4 for just under 4 years then I upgraded to the iPhone 6. I baught it for R1000 and 4 years later when I upgraded to the 6, I traded it in at the iStore and got R1500 for it.
I still have a Nokia E7 which I used for around a year before I got the iPhone 4 and it still works, that was a awesome phone. I wish I still had my Nokia 3310 which was my first cellphone, for the life of me I can't remember what happened to it.

Uhm, the day the Note 3 got released. Can't remember the year.
Still using it.
Mic and camera is a bit f'kd.

Nokia N73 which I used for 3 - 4 years. Stop using it when I got a Sammy S1. Still have it. Still in use as a back up.

First Alcatel - 7 years until I moved overseas. First Motorolla flip-phone 8 years until stolen. First Samsung slide-phone 5 years until stolen.

Nokia E71

Feb 2009 until Nov 2015 (on the same battery!). Was my primary phone for the first 2 years but then became my "friends & family phone" for the next 4 years.

Would have kept it longer but the screen went kaput.

And then....
Phone still in use : S4 Mini - 4 years
ditto

I still use my Samsung B2100 Xplorer bought in 2009 as my motorcycle phone due to its rugged nature and ease of use with gloves.

I had a Nokia E61 that I used for 3 or 4 years until around 2010. Since then I don't think I've used a particular phone for much longer than a year.
