Fake WhatsApp warning

Using fake or modified versions of WhatsApp on Android could lead to your personal information being stolen, warned the company's CEO, Will Cathcart.

Cathcart said that the company's security research team found hidden malware within apps offering similar services to WhatsApp, available outside the Google Play Store from a developer called HeyMods.

Well, if you are so stupid do install software that is not certified, you should not complain.

And funny thing is, it is the same people that get conned over and over again. They don't learn.

Glad Im using the official version, no one can get my stuff now...

:notworthy:

When I was coding up an AI chat assistant way before the current API they banned my number for using Python to connect to my account and respond to client queries.

Did get it unbanned but why are they no longer banning people for using unauth'd apps?
