This has been classified as legal. Therefore no need to remove it from mybb /s:rolleyes:

What is the end game here?

I cannot even remove myself as admin from groups. Only way I can see is to copy invite link, delete myself from group and then rejoin it?

And what if everyone in the group is made admin? Are all 50 users countable?

The problem is what is considered illegal.

Effectively to be safe you have to have no admins on any groups - is that even possible?

Is a screenshot enough to convict you?

What a **** show

Then what about Facebook groups or anywhere online where commenting is allowed? Why are we allowing scapegoating and not holding people directly accountable for their own actions?

Hondekak...

Some company's policy has got fckall to do with SA law. Nogal a gamechanger, i wipe my ass with them policy.

We're better off with media censorship than to have drek like this paraded as news.

SA Law changed a while ago that an Admin can be held accountable for what is said on social media groups, BUT until now the only action an Admin could take was to delete the user, not the messages they post. Accordingly, the Admin could not be held accountable.

With this update of WhatsApp, the Admin can now delete the messages of others and can therefore now be held accountable if stuff gets spread on a channel they are Admins of.

Nonsense man. There might be legalese to make you think that. Joke will be on you to believe that.

Can you hold a restaurant owner responsible for what somebody says in his restaurant?NO
Is a home owner liable for what his guests say in his home. **** no.
Is whatsapp or facebook , that provides the platforms, responsible for what you say on their platforms? NO, but somehow you believe you as the admin is responsible.

You are not responsible for the actions of others, no matter what anybody say. You are only liable for the actions of YOU or anyone minor under your care.

Then by default forums too? Must we start a 2min noodle collection for RPM to use as currency in jail?
RPM never answers his messages. I think we all safe
