Hi guys,

I've been thinking, WhatsApp have not pushed an update in quite some time now. They promised voice calls will arrive in the 2nd quarter and that did not happen. I'm also eager to know when they will start including some Continuity in the app. I would love to reply to my WhatsApp messages from my Mac. At the moment WhatsApp is basically the only reason why I have to pick up my iPhone when I am sitting in from of my computer :crying:

Calls have been delayed until next year, and WhatApp has an update now which needs to be done within 14 days.

Ya, WhatsApp are always slow with the updates, hopefully this will improve with Facebook taking over. I remember them taking ages to update for iOS7. I would love for some continuity and the quick reply feature to be added.

Maybe the Apple update is just slow? Play Store shows version 2.11.399 dated 29 October which adds the ability to give captions to photos and videos.

I was able to add captions to my photos before 29th of October already...?

WhatsApp have not pushed many updates since the Facebook takeover was announced. But to also put some perspective in- they need to redesign for both iOS 8 and Android Lollipop. When they're ready, I'm sure it will launch.

It's not as if the current app doesn't work, anyway. Just looks a bit boring.

Just noticed the ticks turning blue. Now the fighting and stalking will start. BBM days are really coming to an end.

Pretty sure the more recent major updates/versions have been first on iOS, going at least a year back, if not more.

Looks **** on the 6+. App is adapting to 6+ screen size and losing sharpness.
