As a general rule of thumb, it is recommended that iOS users avoid installing apps outside of the App Store as a precautionary measure.

Whatsapp hangs this side, 5S iOS 8.1, each time it starts... takes way longer to load new conversations. Quick-kill and relaunch usually gets it going again, if I'm too impatient to wait... Long due a proper update.

Why does WhatsApp allow sharing in eg. 9Gag App but still not Photos; that's what is needed!
