Hi Guys.

Do we have a date on which the 2GB+1GB data bundle promotion will end?

8ta should bring an uncapped internet at R400-500 a month I WOULD invest in it

I'm wondering how long the 8ta 60+60 prepaid and the 10GB/mnth contract will still be available

I've got the 60+60 and GF has the 10GB and both are coming up for renewal in the next 2-3 months

Very happy with our existing service!

Not sure what the T&C are for the 10gig but I know other contracts if you don't cancel it's continuous service at the rates you signed.

Don't give 8ta any ideas...things are good...if anything the question should be : will this become better?

8ta's services are declining. Doubt I will ever want to make use of them, like VC, no matter what specials they have. They are too unstable and can cause serious losses to businesses.

8ta is fine for those who wants to play on the Internet and won't miss being down for at least 2-3 days per week.

you are correct, I've spoken to 8ta and the contract continues until one party cancels it, or you can renew it during the final two months before it ends

We're using 8ta at home while I'm considering having my ADSL reconnected. In the year that we've had 8ta we hadn't been offline once.

I am very happy with 8ta might consider purchasing another 60gig-60gig package wi them when my data expires. Just a pity have to do war driving in my house to get the sweet spot but seen a lot of improvements use to get edge in my bedroom now getting HSDPA/3G very content with their service but hope I don't get messed around like others who adds another 60 gig and their services has degraded.

I guess I have my answer: http://mybroadband.co.za/news/broadband/73728-8ta-broadband-specials-ending-soon.html

I live in Pietermaritzburg, and the coverage map shows that 8ta 3G covers just half of my yard - and for that reason the people at Telkom refused to allow me to sign a 24 month 10GB contract. I managed to get the help desk to provision a SIM for data usage (the guy didn't bother to check if I had coverage) and so the 2+1GB deal has been perfect. The only other possible option is to move back to Cell C, but their service here is TERRIBLE! :(
