When transferring credits to UNISA, do I first register for first year modules?

I’ve done 2 years of a 3 year BSc Computer Science degree at another foreign institute (there are reasons I can’t finish it there). Do I register for first year/level modules first and when I’ve successfully applied for credit transfer, will I deregister the first level modules and move up to second or even third level?

I am not sure, but on myunisa there is a place where you apply for exemption. But if I were you I would go in to a campus and sort it out there.

Im actually struggling with the same thing now. What did you end up doing? Did they credit you for all your modules? I saw they have a 50% credit rule. how Did you go about it?
