SO & son went to watch "10 lives" 2 days ago. I walked around in the mall, burning calories, as usual. 11.45am show on saturday and there were only 2 other families in that hall.

Wen't to see Maverick in Rosebank Mall on either a Sat or Sun can't remember but there were about 10 people and it wasn't long after launch.
Movie houses are a waste of space, time and definitely money.

I know someone that's been to a cinema only twice in his entire life. It was to watch Titanic and Pearl Harbor, only on the insistence of his wife.

For me personally it will soon be two years, the last time was to watch Top Gun: Maverick when it was released on the 27th of May 2022.

Exactly this - took my girls a few years ago; during the entire movie people talking and phones flashing bright lights.
Never again.
