Bring back the death penalty!!!

I spoke to a cop the other day and he wishes they would bring it back.

To many Humanists in this country

("poor little criminal, dont kill him" - he just murdered like 5 people but dont kill him")

Man, people in jail have more than poor people in the street..

I wonder if the ANC will still have voters if they bring back the death penalty?

I have been fantasing the whole day about starting a vigilante group which goes out and kills criminals. Basically to become Judge, Jury and executioner. Take back the streets from these criminals. Employ torture to find other criminals in the chain and continue killing them until the government actually starts doing something about them.

No comments from Tibby????????? Calling me a hypocrite for suggesting becoming a "criminal" by investing in an illegal firearm, as getting a legal one will be a torture and maybe even too late! Poor criminals...thats what Apartheid have done!

How many times will it have to be said? DEATH PENALTY. I however do not trust this government with the Death Penalty. So it is a catch 22.

the criminals needs to be scared of society, not the otherway around. They are so brazen nowadays coz they now they are likely to get away with it.

We need to increase the threat against them so they think twice about doing the crime.

You catch a hijacker, take him to a quiet farm outside the city and torture him until he tells you where the chop shop is. Then you go to the chop shop, kill most of the people there and torture a couple until you find out who the buyers are. Then you go after them.

You go into town and pick up some drug dealers. Then you toture them until they give up their supplier. You then go and get the supplier and do the same.

We need to bring FEAR to these people.

Death penilty, WTF. At this stage only criminals are allowed to excecute people without any pretence.

Bring back the death penilty and give everyone a gun. Difficult to rob/kill/maim someone if they can shoot back !

My gang of vigilantes will be happy to hunt down your band of criminals, being murderers and torturers. Sooner, rather than later, you'll murder someone based on the false evidence gained from torture, and then we'll be duty-bound to kill you.

You wouldn't last long. First they have no fear. Second, you'll be fighting an endless war you can never win. There'll always be drug dealers. For every one you kill there'll be ten waiting to take their place. Sooner or later they'll get you, then get back to making money.

I'm all for removing the criminal element from the drug trade, but I've been around long enough to realise that the drug trade itself is never going to go away.

Death penalty? To what end? You really think it is a deterrent? That killers worry about getting caught and put to death? Isn't everyone, everywhere, always whining that not enough criminals are being caught and convicted? Big deterrent then that if you get caught, and if you get convicted, and if the crime is considered severe enough, you might eventually get executed.

I'll be happy to support the death penalty, as revenge, not a deterrent, when our police, prosecutors and judges are infallible. In the meantime I'm sure though that all those in favour of re-instituting it now will be happy to be put to death themselves when we make a mistake and kill the wrong person. Ten supporters being executed, and all their property going to the family of the person incorrectly executed, as restitution, would seem fair. Obviously the police, prosecutor and judge involved will have to be tried for their part in the crime, and perhaps executed themselves.
