I know I am old school but I am still a fan of the older bigger engines not a fan of these newer highly stressed downsized engines, I understand the reasoning with EU standards etc

Will always be a fan of them big v6 and v8 diesels with loads of torque

Built in SA?
Yeah, like the previous one. And exported to over 100 countries; most of the C classes built here are exported.

*Edit - not sure if AMG models are built here actually, but the rest of the normal C Class range.

Prob will fall apart faster than RMP under a fat chick, if that's the case.

SA built C-classes were actually on par with German built ones, the terrible ones were built in North America.

But overall the C-class is still a terrible rattle box. Rather get a 3 series which is solid.

For me it doesn’t even need to be a V8. A nice in-line six is my personal sweet spot.

True that
The 6ers either in V or straight esp in Diesel uses much less fuel and effort to get to cruising speed than these newer higher stressed engine

I would love a 4.2 V8 TDI though
