With the increased repair costs you will actually lose money by opening barrels, chests etc. Lower chance of good items and lower gold in barrels, chests etc.

The AH and RMAH is the only reason they would lower drops like this. They're trying to stop people making easy gold which will ruin the economy. Increased repair costs are also a result of Blizzard wanting more people to use the RMAH. With people not being able to accumulate gold easily anymore (due to increased repair costs and lack of good items/gold in barrels and chests) they will be forced to buy stuff on the RMAH.

You're the guy who doesnt even have the game right? Waiting for the offline modes from alternative sources?
Anyway, how does increasing repair costs but at the same time increase item drop rates from mobs, force people to go to RMAH?

If anything the game is now way more friendly regarding Inferno and gear and you are not forced to use AH or RMAH.

People have it easy now. You should have level'd a Barb and played to Diablo before the patch to realize how you 99% depended on the AH!

So so true... Also the reason I never made it to act 2 until I ran in a team.... Trying to play without relying on the AH made it near impossible to progress...

Ye a group is loads of fun.

I'm always looking for ppl to group with to farm Act 3. Before the patch it was always hard as most ppl where stuck @ around Act 2, but I think now it might start getting better.

So if you are a Monk or DH or Wiz or WD and farming Act 3 give me a shout!

Personally im having some mixed feelings about this patch. The repair costs are hella crazy - but with that i can deal. IAS has been nerfed - i can deal. But then you get a typical evening like last night..Running 5 stacks of NV with a total of 220% MF through the entire Act 4 Hell and getting *whites*? 0.o i mean not always, a blue here and there and YAY Diablo dropped 2 yellows, but i could not believe what the hell was going on. Either RNG hates us bigtime, or the guy that was supposed to code the patch changes had the increases in reverse. I was expecting at least a few more rares than 2! And even with my ferrets out where i usually grab 800 - 1.3k piles of gold average last night was 200 here, 300 there max. Sigh..

I was running Act 3 last night and drops was ok & gold was good. I don't like doing Act 4 farming tbh. There is only like 10 elite packs , so once you get the 5 stacks there's not that much to do.
Act 3 on the other hand drop the same gear as Act 4, but you have around 30 elite packs to choose from.

Everything just seemed too much of a coincedance for me to be bad RNG, but i guess i dont have that big of a sample to base my statements on. Will farm Act 3 tonight and see if the trend continues. Thx for the info.

Why do you tards (moaners) even bother posting here. WE DO NOT CARE if you don't like the game and we don't care if you do not play it anymore. The game is fine, its Diablo and its suppose to be hard.

Go be or sulk about a game that is clearly not for you somewhere else and let us hardcore Diablo players see the game evolve just like D2 did.
