Hi,

With Mweb you can buy 'boosters' of 1GB for R99 extra. This doesn't seem *that* bad to me as I don't download much. However, the bad thing about this is that it doesn't carry over. So if it's the 28th of the month and I buy a booster, I have 3 days in which to use 1gb.

What do you usually download when you have too much data and not enough time ?

Web Africa's prepaid does carry over, and it's only R70 per gig as opposed to R99.

I use Web Africa... So I virtually never have an excess of data vs. time. :p

Go to webafrica. They sell you 1GB and it carry over. Their overall price is much better as well.

I ordered a webafrica prepaid account ealier today, paid for it. Am now waiting for it to be activated. Anyone know how long they usually take?

I cant handle being capped - driving me crazy. Only so many times I can check my local email, 2 local forums and iRC.

The person in billing said they would forward it to support - I mailed support as well. This was around 3pm. Still waiting for any sort of reply :(

just make sure you check your "spam" folder (like Hotmail). I use webafrica, and it was quick!

If you pay by credit card its instant with WA. EFT needs a pop(proof of payment) faxed to them. I just top up with prepaid whenever i need it.

Also I have Vodacom HSDPA so when the bundle is up, it just carries on using out of bundle rates.
