Where can I buy a foil head electrical razor?

Everywhere I go, they only sell the rotary type of electrical razors. The man at Clicks told me they stopped stocking the foil head razors because of poor sales.

Another thing I noticed is that my beard growth seems to be asymmetrical: the whiskers on the left side of my face seem to grow faster. Am I mistaken? Possibly I just don't shave the same on both sides because of my handedness.

Foil heads are the best.

Try Dischem they sell the Braun series (on and off).

your bigger clicks stores stock them (if your shaver is a philips of course)...

...alternatively you might want to email philips.

but yes, I don't think it is a sought after item, so it won't be found everywhere. I had to look for weeks to find some my my shaver

Braun is the only one I know of. They break a lot though so probably why they don't stock it anymore.

They do?
There was in fact an issue with the Braun distributors in S.A. which affected stock. Don't know if it's been sorted yet

New World has them (Braun). Prepare to pay big bucks.

I'd try online first tbh.

Unlikely - all of it.

Blade keeps breaking the foil if you push too hard. Even if you don't sometimes as it needs to be perfectly straight.

Yes, that's what's happened to mine: the foil is cracked.

I actually wanted to get a replacement foil and cutter, but I can't find it anywhere.

Considering the razor is almost five years old, I thought I might just as well get a new one if I'm going to be spending several hundred rand on replacing parts. I don't want the razor to suddenly stop working one morning in the middle of shaving before work.

My skin can't handle rotary head razors.

dude which brand & model? Not sure about the others but 5 years isn't an issue for the Brauns. Think it was like 150 last time i checked.

Also - okes keep a sharp eye out for BIC branded disposable safety blades. They are trying to push into the market & selling wicked quality blades (on par with the name brands) for pennies. Not sure how long thats gonna last so I'm stocking up. Get the type with detachable heads though...not the ones where you chuck the entire thing. ffs can't find image, but NOT these (disposable) ones

Thank you for this. Indeed, New World in Menlyn had the replacement cutter and foil in stock for just R 89.
