I use a standard pc power cable. Presume it's the same as its a power supply. So any pc store. Just ask for a power cable.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

The newer ones use a figure of eight (C7) plug, available at all good electrical stores. HifiCorp etc should stock.

Old PHAT Ps3 uses a kettle cord, and new PS3 uses a DVD or Printer power cord. Any PC place should carry them.

Local electronic and gaming stores your best bet although you will probably get ripped on the price.

Its a normal kettle/pc cable, you can use anything really.

If the PS3 switches on, you know its the right cable. :)

And if it bursts into flames, you know to go back and get the "other" cable? :D

A buddy of mine got his PS3 overseas, just put a SA plug on. If you don't like playing electrician though, you can get a replacement from pretty much any hardware or electronics store (like a few other members have said). Will save you a few bucks.
