I have just added a new data contract to my current MTN contract.
I just want to find the data usage for my contract.
my problem is this :
If I use *162*passwd# USSD on ginggs tool , it says that I have no data left. 0.0MB
If I phone 16202 with the sim in another phone - I am told 36MB.
If I go to MTNSP.co.za , I can not find any billing info fot the new contract , but I can find billing info for my phone contract.
If I phone 808 , I am told that I have 36.1MB
Why do the USSD and MTNSP not work ?

Problem two :
On my phone contract. I had a 100MB bundle. then cancelled that and added a 500MB bundle.
If I phone 16202 I am told that I have xxxMB on my 500MB bundle and 100MB on my 100Mb bundle. I am not billed for the 100MB though)
MTNSP.co.za - also shows the 100MB bundle under unbilled info.
Now WTF ? This apparent lack of communication between the different systems do not inspire any confidence in the Billing capabilities of MTN.
Please MTN sharpen up. Get your systems and your act together.
And if someone has an answer to how I can find accurate stats on my data usage without having to swop sims and dial voiceprompts all the time , that will be nice too.
