Ok, so I opened the battery cover of my XB360 controller the other day to replace the batteries. Can;t remember what happened, but now I can't find the thing anywhere!
Which means I'm effectively down to 1 controller.
Which means I can't invite my friends to my place to play FIFA.
Which then defeats the whole point of me bringing my flippin console to Durbs with me!

So... Where can I get a replacement battery cover in Durbs?

hehehe ... nice one! I'll definitely give it a try if i can't find a proper cover.
Are our coins conductive btw?

Lol no idea. Try a 10c coin. Otherwise fold up a small piece of paper and stick it in there. The cover does nothing except house the batteries. I'm guessing if you secure the batteries properly as shown in link it should work fine.

Keep us posted

Why not go and buy a rechargeable pack? I've been playing with batteries for long till I finally got the courage to go and buy one of those packs. R200 bucks and it works like a bomb! Lasts longer than standard batteries plus you just plug them back into the console on their 3m cables(handy!). Just a suggestion bro.

I usually buy a huge pack of el-cheapo chinese batteries... a few months ago I got a pack of 60 batteries for R19 (...yes, you read that right!)
Those will last me like a week per pair which means I only need to buy a pack every 6 months or so.
I originally had proper Energizer rechargeables but after about a year of use, they started to drop off and I had to charge them every week. So I took a chance on the chinese batteries and they work out way cheaper on the whole (...except for the environment)
