I'm not a fan of logo's all over my clothing but finding plain coloured normal cut t-shirts that are high quality has been neigh impossible.
Woolies - junk, hoping Country Road or Trenary may have something better but I'm not near a Woolies branch that stocks either so can't say yet.
Mr P - super junk
Cotton On - Best so far, nice cut, nice material and R169 each or R250 for 2, so almost a win on price - longevity is yet to be seen, looks promising on the pair I have that are a few weeks old now.

Where else can I try?

Where are you in SA
Western Cape, should be heading down to Ct in the next month or 3.
Jet... R50... OK quality.
No man, that sht goes Fong Kong after the first wash. The shirt must be very high quality in both fabric and manufacturing.

Most big brands get their tshirts right, good fit, high quality and long wearing but then you are obliged to advertise their dodgy branding for free.

Though a small logo on the hemline or sleeve is normally passable.

Try Fittees. They sell to the public from their store in Salt River. Plain, good quality shirts.

That sounds like a good one, what kind of prices are they?

Do they supply them to the industry for screen printing?

Around R80 - R100. Gets a lot cheaper buying bulk (20+ shirts) but I've never needed so many at once.

Yeah, quite a few local clothing stores use their shirts to print and Fittees also do their own printing but almost all of what's in their store is plain and available in crew or v neck.

I shop and Pick and Pay clothing. Don't know if they sell polo shirts though.

I bought a few plain T shirts from H & M. Very good quality and around R80 each.
I also looked at them the other day, seemed decent enough but with cheap brands they typically look awesome till 2 or 3 washes in and then the true quality becomes apparent.

Please keep the thread updated with how they wear.

I have some from Cottonon that are pretty decent but their current range of plain tees isn't of the same quality, also not particularly cheap at around R170 a tee.

I have 2 that I bought about a year ago and they see regular use. Still havnt lost their shape like what happens with Mr Price T shirts.

The H & M fabric has a little stretch to it so this allows the shirt to keep its shape better.

I also bought a few of the H&M plain basic shirts. They are of great quality to be honest.

I believe you get different fits as well.

Ones I got are slim fit.
