Plain, high quality TShirts? Go to Jonnson Workwear. You won't find better. Same goes for their long-sleeved t-shirts.
Agreed. Was scanning through the thread to check if someone had mentioned them. I'm not fond of the little red label on the arm. Tried taking it off before and made a hole in the hem. I think if you have a magnifying glass and fine scissors you may get it right. Fantastic quality t-shirts though.

Where you getting yours?
I normally just buy whatever is on sale and fits when I need a pair. Some good ones in the past, Element, Selected Homme(Brand superbalist imports), Guess make some very nice ones. CottonOn seems to also make some decent pairs. One thing though is all brands seem to change the cut every season, very annoying

As long as they have stretch and aren't too baggy, I'm skin and bones so they have to be slim fit to work on me.

Their jeans are even better. Someone once asked me why I was wearing that. So I put every phone on the table in my pockets. All 9 of them.

I go the opposite way with pants. Straight leg, no pleats, pockets or turn-ups. If I could find something like the Cargo material in plain trousers I'd go for that, but difficult these days. Hate clothes shopping, so putting off going and looking. Used to just buy jeans from Edgars.

Tried Polo and Penguin today, nice quality and fit and only a small logo on one side.
Polo a bit over priced at R320 but Penguin in the zone at R220 and even less on sale.
Takealot has a few Penguin shirts on sale:

Bump, interesting topic and looking for this myself, been buying Polo as its very good quality and fit, but not a huge fan or have a bougee logo on clothing
Polo SA is actually not the "Ralph Lauren Polo", their clothes are made in China

Interesting I didn't know they finally got some comeuppance, they basically just stole the Polo brand. Up until a few years ago I thought local Polo was in fact the Ralph Lauren variety.

Does anyone know if they appealed the case and where it ended up?

I haven't seen any genuine Polo available in SA?
