One of the questions put to the Gauteng Transport Department in the legislature is what has happened to 600 cars worth at least R90-million which cannot be accounted for.

James Swart (MPL), the DA's transport spokesperson, said there was no record or account of what happened to the vehicles.

Transport MEC Ignatius Jacobs "is very pleased with his performance as head of the Gauteng department of transport.
