Where to buy Android phone locally

Need a replacement phone in a hurry, so the China options are no-go.
Previously used a Meizu M2 Note, but the phone is discharging quicker than it can charge.
Looking for an Android phone in the R3-5k range.
Appreciate info on which shops or sites to consider for buying phones cash (I live in CPT).

You can also get The Huawei P10 lite for R4200(Gold), the Meizu Pro 6(R5200) all from Takealot.

I have bought quite a few items from them and used TNT every time for deliveries. I have yet to have a problem. I always pay the extra 1% for insurance though. All orders have arrived within 10 working days. I live in the sticks and the couriers only pass by twice a week, so it could be 3 days quicker in some cases. Depends when it is handed over to the local courier companies and when they come past.

Granted you take the risk of a device failing in the first year and being left with a brick. But when the price is often less than half of an "on the shelf", similar spec device with SA warranty, it is often worth the risk. And at these prices it is more often worth taking a mid range spec phone and tossing it after 8-12 months.

I won't easily order a high-end device from oversees. But for the 3-4K phones it can be worth it. If the phone is faulty on arrival places like Gearbest will cover all costs to do a replacement.

@Redviking - I think they all do a swap/refund as long as its DOA or in the first few days or months. After a certain period it's not really worth sending back. Sub R4K phones are well spec'ed. I go for the R2.5K to R3K phones with the expectation of replacing them in 8-12 months and getting something better. That and my phones get punished. By 8 months they are well "used" and by 12 months they find their way into the "spare phone" drawer.

I don't do the 'can it survive a blender' test. =) will probably keep my phone for the next 5 years or until it breaks. Which ever comes first.

Never a CAT. I know so many people who were disappointing by them. I've had a Doogee DG700 and a Doogee T5. My next will be the Doogee S60 with wireless charging and NFC. Both previous phones still work BTW.
