Hi
I'm looking for some advice, I need to buy Windows 10 to run on OS X Parallels.

MS Website quotes R2,500 for Win 10 home edition, is there any way to buy a cheaper license,
and is it possible to then download an iso for installation from MS website ?

thanks

I believe that there is no difference, i.e special price, for the Windows 10 that you want to install on Parallels - its a normal instance.

Best bet would be to shop around. Check Takealot?

A guy on here pointed out that one can buy legit Windows 10 licences crazy cheap on Amazon UK. Since the code is delivered to you by e-mail, there will be no shipping issue. It is true, there are licences available there that are so cheap you will want to slap your mother (although I haven't tried ... either).

You're welcome bud. At that price, there is less risk. Just check seller reviews before purchase and you'll be fine.

You can give me the difference as commission.

Doubt that.

So just to update how it went with Parrallels + Windows 10

I ordered the Win10 Pro OEM code from amazon for R180
Email with code arrived 2 hours later.
Activation wouldn't work , error said the code had been used before.
Phoned MS to activate, they gave me a new number to enter , and it's all working now :)

Oi vey ... that's why I said just be careful about viewing the seller reviews first on Amazon. Sounds like somebody tried to screw you over and Microsoft honoured the deal at their own cost (which is surprisingly generous of them). Maybe just add a review for the seller you used on Amazon stating your experience in case it helps the next guy to pick a different seller instead.

So they're reselling MSDN codes likely.
