I also bought the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 about 6 weeks ago - 5 days delivery time with DHL.

Flashing ROM's is not necessary. When on gear best, look at the titles of the phones, and select one that says "INTERNATIONAL ROM". Mine cam with the international ROM and no flashing was necessary - everything was in English, with Playstore etc just like it would be if it were bought here.

If you held out a wee bit you could have picked up the Snapdragon 625 version of the Note 4, not that there would be a considerable difference between that and the X20 SOC.
