How do I install 140mm fans in the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX?

I picked up the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX with accepts 1x 200mm, 2x 140mm or 2x 120mm in the front. The mounting is a bit confusing as I can't use the normal fan screws. What kind of hardware do I need to mount two of these? I was searching eBay and not finding anything suitable. I did find...

In the past I have used standard M4 bolts with washers and nuts. Make sure to use a lock nut so that things don't work loose, e.g. https://www.builders.co.za/Fastener...4mm-Nylock-Nut-(30-Pack)/p/000000000000283177

Cable ties also work, although they can degrade in the long term. It will depend on how long you want to keep this for.

Thing is the holes are about 2.5mm and threaded. So the correct screw would be about 3mm with a fine thread. Tried every screw I have collected over more than a decade. Eventually bought some at Builders, but the thread just didn't match. Can't believe damn Phantek's claims it supports 140mm fans, but give no way of mounting them

Use a thinner and longer screw to get through the holes and put a nut at the end.
