As per the title, anyone have any doctors they would recommend for an ADHD diagnosis in an adult?

If you have to ask , then yeah you probably have ADHD.

Good news is that you can go to any doctor, who can diagnose or refer you to a specialist. It's covered if you have a semi-decent medical aid.

Yes, any GP will be able to make a recommendation. In regard to the medical aid, well, some go by the 'motivation' made by the specialist.

It's a made-up, non-existent "disease"...

It's not for me, but someone I know who ticks all the boxes. They are struggling and I am looking for a solution, so whether it's "made up" or not, anything I can do to help them would be great.

I've gotten such a diagnosis (and help) from a variety of medical professionals in the Southern Suburbs, if you need any further recommendations, let me know.

What a schlep to get your hands on some drugs.

If you want Ritalin, all you have to do is go to an Indian doctor in a lower income area and say you need to focus when you're studying and need Ritalin. Chances are around 75%-100% that he will agree.

ADHD in adults is when he/she is impulsiver, cannot concentrate and gets frustrated easily. In other words, a good beating was not adminstered as a child.

I have two pharmacies close by that will sell anything without a script.
