Where to have battery replaced of iPod?

I have an iPod Nano 4GB and need to have the battery replaced. I am situated in the East Rand. Can anyone recommend a iPod service centre in the area?

ifixipods is so bad. Their communication sucks and you have to hand your iPod in at a biltong shop... I would recommend doing it yourself rather than suffering the pain they gave me.

Jason, I must agree with you. Since yesterday I have sent 2 mails without any reply. Same goes for Digicape.

How do I replace it myself and where do I buy the battery?

Get the battery from www.ifixit.com - they have tutorials on how to repair it too.

I replaced the motherboard on my 30gig video as well as the battery on a friends 80gig video. All done with ifixit spares and tutorial.

Great plan DeonH. If you say stuff about legal action and reporting items stolen they tend to reply

They had my iPhone for two weeks and I couldn't even get hold of them after calling everyday. in the end I just got it back unrepaired and sold it broken I wish there was a good repair service at a reasonable price in South Africa.

Don't hold your breath, ifix ipods is the worst place to send your ipod to. period.
