Scrap metal dealer or sometimes (car) battery places will give you money for dead batteries (as they sell them to the scrap dealers).
I take mine to https://bhgpower.co.za. They are based in Germiston.
Depending on the market they give between R4 to R7 a Kilo for scrap

What if you're not religious, can you still take them? I'de hate to go to a shop thats blessed and we don't agree on life after death or something.
