I want to do a Cisco Networking course and get my CCNA for a start in the networking field.

However it seems all the reputable places to study are in JHB and CPT. There was one place in Durban called "Durban Computer Tech".
http://www.dctech.co.za/Int. Certification/ccna.htm

Not too sure about this place as the website looks abit dodgey.

If anyone knows about this place or knows anywhere else I can study for my CCNA Please help.

Any help regarding this will be highly appriciated.

Depends on how much experience you have.....
If you have no clue and decided u wanted a cisco tag, then i suggest u find a course. The ccna is not the most difficult exam, but they dont make it easy.

If you are going to do self study, make sure you get a decent simulation/emulation programme, alot of the questions are practical based.

Also try not to use braindumps....i know its tempting, but cisco exams are now under forensic analysis....IE they try check if you actually know your work, or if u have been using brain dumps...

I have basic experience dealing with switches and home networks. nothing too advanced, not sure if it will be enough to do self studying on cisco.

I just completed a bachelors degree in Education so still in the studying mindframe so I guess thats an advantage.

yeah, basic covering of some of the stuff in the CCNA.. just get the book, learn, CBT nuggets and write the exam.
not sure if you are planning on changing career path or are in IT already... question you have to ask yourself is why do i want to do a CCNA?
