Which cables to connect RIOT to Sunsynk and Hubbles

Hey all


For those with a RIOT which cables do you use to connect the RIOT to both the Sunsynk and Hubbles at the moment I am only getting battery data so I believe I need to connect it to the sunsynk 8kw, which cable is correct?

I do not want to unplug the solarman wifi I want to run both the RIOT and Solarman at the same time.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a RIOT for better stats compared to SolarmanSmart and being able to remotely setup the Sunsynk.

No havent had chance to look at it. Maybe look at sunsynks new dongle instead.

My "real time" flow doesn't update always on the app which is annoying. I NEED STATS!

The new dongle does this apparently @Tarique can comment on it though

The RIOT however can balance batteries which I think is useful.

The batteries balance themselves as far as I recall about the hubbles

There is a balance procedure to follow with AGM mode and discharge/charge etc when they are just installed.

The RIOT takes care of all of that.

I didnt feel overly confident to do it myself so im leaving it to my installer. Involves changing battery settings.

Exactly why Im not fiddling. It also needs min and max voltages to be set etc.

Then one battery at a time to discharge and charge again.

I’m not comfortable messing with R50k in batteries.

Are you referring to cell balancing ?

I think so. To balance both Hubbles
