You can call CFR, and provide them with your ID number. If your application is in the system, they will be able to provide you with a reference number.

You however need the patience of several saints when calling CFR.

Yes contact your DFO, renewed my competency in early September last year, never got an sms with a ref no... Contacted my DFO het sent me a screenshot with the ref no and now I can watch how it's not progressing at all. :crying:
 
I am looking for a basic gun safe but would like electronic with key backup.
I am struggling to find something SABS approved.
Any suggestions

I'm not well versed on safes but the 'traditional' general consensus at least as far as I'm aware is the electronic stuff are not up to standards, so rather look at a mechanical safe that is legal per standards.



Edit to add: if you are dead set on an electronic safe, it needs to comply with the requirements of EN 1300 Class B.
