Which hdmi splitter to extend 1+ laptop screens?

Hi I'm looking at tidying up my desk setup, and the 15inch laptop screen next to 23inch looks ridiculous at the moment. Also looking to upgrade to 27 or 32 inch curved but will keep second screen. Question is which if any hdmi splitter will alow me to extend and not duplicate screens, that way I can close laptop and just run off the 2 monitor's.
