Hi there guys and gals!

I have a Opel Corsa 1997, I wanted to know which model it is. Is there any way of identifying which model it is?

Is it a 1.4 or a 1.3?
Does not have aircon or powersteering.
Thanks

Z.

'97 would be 1.3 I imagine.

The license disc should tell you all and failing that the plate with the engine details inside the engine bay.

Why the odd need to know?

I have a corsa lite 1998 130i.You would think its a 1.3L , but if you look on the engine it says 1.4.

Dice a newer Corsa, with the bubble lights. If you win, you've got the 1.3i. If you draw or lose, then you've got the 1.4 :p

You should probably be a bit more certain than asking a bunch of guys on the internet who've never even seen your car. That is, if you ever want to be able to claim.

Get better insurance.

They should have this stuff based on record.

But I can't imagine it would make all that much difference either either way. Insure it at the one that is valued higher and no problem.
