0 votes for SANRAL I see...
Been hearing regular radio adds by SANRAL on local radio station from time to time... and thinking by myself... WTF is the need for them to advertise that they are doing their work?! Using taxpayer money to advertise to us that they are indeed doing their work.... dafuq. Most likely just an opportunity for them to out out a tender for advertising work of which some connected family member usually get's the deal...

This is true. However, if you look at the roads, especially the national ones, it could be so much worse. I always thought our national highways were pretty good.

Eskom has some billboards on the freeways advertising their upgrades, I would imagine to improve the brand reputation, but is it really necessary to advertise it, surely just delivering on your mandate is the best way to win the hearts of the people.

SABC news is surprisingly decent. I watched a lot for their coverage during the elections and the production quality was good for a company supposedly on the brink.
