Andiccio24 make the nicest frozen pizza. I haven’t tried their restaurant yet,
The Mexican and pepperoni ones are great.

Butlers are the best takeout

It does bring up the question with these "put in your braai" moves I see everywhere lately surely those things must just taste like smoke and still have a pretty long cooking time?
Those put on braai pizza oven things with a stone work, but it's hard to get the temperature right.

I've been struggling with one for a while now, it's very easy to get it too hot then it cooks and promptly burns the pizza in 3 minutes flat.

It's got a built in thermometer, but the heat varies wildly between the different zones, so you end up burning a part, and having another part still half raw. I think it's worth experimenting with it though, I'll get it right eventually. I suspect charcoal would be better than wood, might be easier to get the heat evenly distributed.

Yeah I've always wondered how that would work, are you warming it up before putting the pizza in?

Yeah, get the stone hot, and then then shove the pizza in. It works if you can get the heat evenly distributed, but It's not so easy to get it 100% right. I fail about 30% of the time.

I still have a kettleCADDY for my Weber - it worked brilliantly but did some damage to the Weber in the end. Haven't used it since I got the Milex.

Next up is a Gozney Arc XL.

I'm brown and a born & bred Kaapie so for me it was Pizza Time (Gatesville) from a bygone era.

Masala seafood (pizza)

The garlic pita plain & cheese (pizza)

Can't really comment on the new stuff.

First, why would anyone make pizza at home lol? Some people have waayy too much time lol.

2nd, there's too many close ones but i'll go with Del Forno, Col'cacchio and Panarottis.

Much like pasta, once you can it’s brain dead easy and so much better with full control to do whatever you want.

I’ll have my homemade potato pizza and a simple Margherita over most anything you can buy in a shop and it takes no planning with stuff from my fridge and cupboard.

Pepperoni and the like when I planned ahead.

It’s also ridiculously cheap. I can probably make 6 large pizzas with toppings for the price of one shop bought.

My bru... now you reminding me of childhood... seriously... garlic pita with cheese back in the day was like R24 or something....

the goulash and the gheema used to be packed with meat... and the price was right....

in hindsight tho, I'm wondering if that was horsemeat, kidding but ja. wouldnt have pizza with any meat toppings now.... but i could definitly go for my standard order...

Garlic Pita, cheese, mushrooms, feta and dried chillies

Col'Cacchio Willowbridge is decent. The Canal Walk branch is the worst.

Trattoria Maranello Melkbos is pretty good.

JP's Grill and Bistro St Helena Bay is awesome.
