A couple of thoughts on the elections as a layman.

Firstly its fascinating to see a party go from nothing to 14% in just a few months. It must be a bit of a slap in the face of someone like the EFF, who really fights hard for votes, and then gets their ass handed to them by the new kid on the block. Also, how long before Carl hangs up his red beret?

Next Im looking at good, BOSA, VF+ and ActionSA (and a few others). I cant help but wonder whether the the money they spent on registering, adds etc was worth it in the end? Im guessing Aunty Pat will be without a job soon.

Im amazed to see that people voted for Cope!

With 0.03% it looks like OHM wont be providing much resistance.
