If you had the choice to choose to date somebody based solely on their profession, which profession would you pick?

I would like to date either an economist, a marketer (not advertising agent), or a doctor (not a GP but a specialist).

Would not like to date a lawyer, an engineer, or an accountant.

A journalist, a scientist, a gym instructor.

I would also love to date a Medical Specialist.

I think when they get home they can keep you entertained with their stories for hours on end. Would be pretty exciting to date a specialist. Lawyers, scientists and so forth could be rather borring

Based on thought paradigms and intellectual predispositions.

You cannot refute the fact that studying towards a certain degree, or being in a certain job aligns you to doing things in a certain manner etc.

In my case, it is in the creativity of the aforementioned careers that I find interest.

I'd like to date a doctor. (Chances, slim)

I'd like to screw a gr 1,2,3 teacher. (Chances, substantially greater)

I won't date any of the above mentioned professions.

I think kindergarden teacher / artist / writer / stage actress would be more in line with how I see the future Mrs RaZor

Lawyer/Doctor etc just seems to me that they'll be spending too much time at their jobs than at my side. And I'm pushing 30  so only have a handful of years left before I croak.

Not really, which is why I made the OP in the form of a hypothetical.

I.T. Preferably a programmer. I have married friends who are both programmers and they always have something to talk about. Apart from being able to spew out a few lines of dodgy code, she'd have to be pretty excited about her career and about technology. :)

That would be a perfect world. In real life, I don't think it really matters but she has to be driven and happy with her career choice. I do not want to date/marry someone who constantly complains about her boring job. That sh$t drives me bat sh$t crazy!
