I seldom use Ubers these days, but when I do, I always order Uber Black.

Albeit not a 100% foolproof method, but I found the Uber Black drivers are usually more presentable and have more to lose (i.e. a more expensive car) - my instinct tells me, the more it costs, the safer it is

Only really use Uber. Used Bolt once when I was using Uber at the same time for someone else. Having said that, I think a lot of drivers use both so there is a very similar pool of drivers.

Been using Uber since about 2016, not had any major incidents so far. Only had one issue where the guy got a flat 5 minutes after picking me up, but got a replacement car pick me up in less than 5 minutes.

But yes, in this country, chances are that my luck will run out eventually.

Also never had issues with Uber, maybe they let the quality of the cars slip over the years, but overall it's ok.
