Which Router to buy Telkom 1Tb LTE

We are moving to an area with no fibre. We managed to get the 1Tb Telkom LTE deal at R999 per month. We believe this to be great value for money. We did not want to be locked into a contract should FTTH become available in the next 12 months.

I need to buy the correct router that will work. Telkom offers the Huawei B535-932 with the above deal. I can get this router from Takealot. Is that the correct router? Or should I rather opt for something else?

Please advise someone who is not technical. Just link what I have to purchase :)

Its a decent router. If you want to upgrade that get the B612 but make sure you get the correct Telkom version.

Bets router be B818.

Betetr deal will be supersonic R999 uncapped as included b612 which is ok to start with.

So we have to get the B612 router. You say get the correct Telkom version - how do I check this? Or must I just check it has the 2300Mhz band?

Is this the right router for Telkom LTE?

B612 only single band rather go router that use multiple band increases performance.

B618-65d (only available second hand at decent price anyway) or fork out for the B818.

I would prefer the Huawei B818 and to make sure you get the right band, you can download the app hua ctrl from play store and set it manually at 2300 mhz.
