Which RTS to choose?

I want to get myself a fun RTS to play, haven't bought one since Age of Empires II The Conquerors!!!

Which one would you recommend? Starcraft II or Dawn of War II Retribution?

I would leave Dawn of War for a steam special (Halloween as well as Black Friday & Xmas is around the corner, so you have high chance of picking it up for cheap on one of them)

Age of mythology was quite fun back in the day.

With red alert 2 i just built lots of tesla tanks,lol. weak alone but if theres alot they own.long range iirc.

Remember how you could use Crazy Ivan to "sabotage" your own troops and loading them into cheap flak cannon buggy thingies? You send 20 of these buggies into the enemy base and let them shoot. As they get destroyed the trooper inside explodes as well Not sure how effective it was (lots of fun though).

I would also recommend Starcraft 2, but you haven't played Company of Heroes, I'd also highly recommend that.

I have played CoH before, it is fun, but I don't really like real stuff (tanks, humans, etc.)

Bud the only thing I'd say regarding DoW2 is that it's not your classic RTS. You basically control a few squads per mission that you get to customise.

I really enjoyed SC2 and will prob go back once Heart of the Swarm is released.
