I remember reading about this a while back. Very handy if you upload photos regularly. Right now I'm just aiming for something with a high-ish capacity with a fast transfer speed to take along on holiday.

I was running some comparisons last night and Eye-fi's own software does a great job on the iPad. It's faster and much easier to use in Ad-hoc mode.

You apparently need to get a SDHC adapter. I tried to get one when I was in the UK and it didnt arrive in time. I'm ordering one locally so I'll let you know.

RAW is pretty slow, they warn you about that on their website iirc, but jpeg is pretty nippy. What sort of range are you looking for?
