I need to get my current 4.2.2 tablet up to 4.4.2 so that the Netflix app allows offline downloading and viewing of episodes.

Stupid question from me yes, just been a few years since I flashed a Samsung and can't afford to brick this tablet, or else it will be a very long trip to Kruger with 2x whining kids in the backseat with no video to watch.

odin and download, and you are good to go. it's not easy bricking a device tbh.
