My guess is that will cost you >R12k (minimum) for the collection, if it gets released here.
A chap in Colorado got them for $441, so R12k here sounds about right once you've factored in shipping, customs duties, VAT, etc.

So onedayonly has JW Gold Reserve in a gift pack on 'special' for R599 - remember, you still have to pay shipping. Makro has it for R589 a bottle (without the gasses :rolleyes: ). Edit - they say retail is R900.......

Caveat emptor.

So last night I decided to make my very first Old Fashioned. It was delicious and also the best way to use up the Maker's Mark, an impulse buy which I never really liked.

Teaspoon of suger is the same thing.

Or use maple syrup...I have had that and it's amazing...
Oooh, I have some real maple syrup from Canada - maybe I should try some.

The only cheapie I have in the house is Three Ships, probably not suited. A bottle of JD then.
