Seems you might be confusing those two words. Migrants seek work, refugees seek refuge. And even then refugees under international law are limited to the nearest safe country. Last time I checked Mexico is doing rather well, thus any South American seeking refuge should stay in Mexico.

And I was correcting your use of the word migrant because your supporting statement was more the definition of of a refugee.
A migrant has no humanitarian need of entry into a country, nor are they escaping a conflict.

Frankly what is good for the goose is good for the gander. If the migrants are allowed to enter without vaccination then everyone should be able to come into the US without a vaccination. No matter whether they are walking from Chile or flying in on a private jet from Europe. All are equal under the law.
And if he cannot enter because he is not vaccinated then why not line everyone up at the southern border and give them the jab. Seems the best course of action, so they don't get COVID. But then they should also be checked for the MMR vaccine, and all the other childhood vaccines we all get. Seems the most prudent course of action, especially since they are coming from shithole countries (after all that's why they are leaving them aren't they?). Seems like a very humanitarian thing to do.
