White sasol employees to go on strike because of 'exclusion based on race'

I work for a large corporate, 15 years or so ago we all got share options, a shitload. I was a level one staff member and when I cashed it in I paid of my house and car with the 500 000 Rand I walked away with. My BEE colleagues on the same level walked away with 1.3 million each. I was quite OK with that. The law requires these kind of things and there is nothing I can do about it. But, getting nothing based on race I have never attended a strike in my life but at the age of 52 I will join if it happens to me.

Did you all get equal number of shares? What was the criteria for allocation of shares? Did you all cash out at the same time?

LOL. They are burning charcoal and meat and damaging animal remains with their teeth instead of Sasol infrastructure? Burning charcoal instead of tyres. The workers probably intimidated fellow employees from entering the braai area instead of blockading the Sasol entrance gates.

What an opposite anticlimax indeed. So different from the nations national behaviour in a strike. Must be because of the unions lack of solidarity to the countries standard practise and norms.
The only weapons of meat destruction I can see is forks and knives.

What's your point?

LOL. Ag shame. You really ask the question and cannot or will not see or accept the difference in the actions of the unions and their members at large. LOL again.

Sorry if my slight observations and lack of "comprehend'able" points in your eyes made you feel unhappy and thus made you disgruntled towards me and my skewed obsevations of reality highlighting the obvious differences we see in the pictures.

But lets wait to see until the end. We never know when the sabotaging will start. Maybe after the braai and drinks. Hope sincerely there are not any foreigner owned spaza shops close to the braai. Their lives could be endangered or some innocent customer or bystander may be shot again, this time with a braaifork?

Spaza shops, bystaders, disgruntled...

Was this meant to be a response to my question? Or did you make a mistake?

In your mind it sure is a mistake indeed.

Tip: (For free). Compare with some previous strikes in South Africa.

Strikes at my ex employer were relatively peaceful. Solidarity members were allowed to work without being impeded until they got burned (a good lesson. They walked out). It was the usual picketing in the mornings while waiting for feedback from unions. It was Numsa btw. Of course I've seen violent strikes elsewhere. I admit I've seen more violent strikes than peaceful picketing.

Post #184? What on earth is that?
