I'm not sure how much of this i actually believe.
I think it could just be a stunt to get skilled expats that have left to believe
that things are rosy in SA and lure them into returning.

Whatever it is, why would anyone in their right mind want to come back to SA
after they have left. Do they know what the state of the country really is?

I worked in London for two years and returned by choice. I am still staying here by choice.

I think the difference is that I have that choice, if I couldn't work anywhere else I also might be panicking, but I can so I can enjoy this country.

But the article or solidarity doesnt say that these jobs went to returning whites or whites that never left the country.

catch a wake up buddy, i agree with u regarding work in specialised industries, but unless ya wanna work as a maid or in a government hospital or u live somewhere in Springbok, decent jobs in a decent company are scarce.

I am sorry, I do not believe for one second that white people are returning or will be returning because of the 2010 wc. why would any white want to come back unless you are loaded and coming retire/ be with family. The corporate world is not for white people anymore it is a total waste of time as it is pointless to try climb the lader as your lader is about three times as high as the black guy next to you.

Before I get flamed... I can see why it is necassary...but I won't stay here to help the cosmetic changes the country can't seem to live without (ie. i am tired of doing lazy EE canditates work for them).

Nope, that is true! But this is not about xtermin8or, it is about journalists that turn a story for their own agenda (to sell more news papers) with a misleading heading once again, adding fuel to the racial divide.
