Ja, this was disappointing and triple disappointed with their response as to why.... "The only information we have is that the delivery is set for the 29th of December. If we have received the pre-order any sooner at Warehouse and processed it for shipping to our branch and setting delivery for we will be notifying you. There are many possibilities for the delay such as high pre-order volumes and needing more Xbox One X's to request and due to the high delivery volumes we have due to the festive season" - I really don't understand which one of these is the issue... delay from supplier, or delay in distribution, or just heavy load... when I asked for more details they did not reply...
