I'm interested in using iStocks (www.istocks.co.za) for share trading. However, while I have used their trading software (without doubt the best software I've seen out of any SA company for trading shares) and spoken to them on the phone, I want to know if anyone else here has used them?
The reason that I ask, is because information is fairly scant regarding the company. A Google search returns no useful information. I would have thought that a company that's offering what they claim to offer, would be advertised nearly everywhere, or at least have the word about them spreading like wildfire. As far as I know, they're the only company offers trading of equities on global exchanges in SA.
I first saw the company in an advert on MoneyWeb, but I want to know if this company is 100% legit as it seems to be fairly small and new. They're supposed to be a new division of Anglorand Capital.
Who knows where I can go on the net or who I can phone to check that they're a certified financial services provider and that they're reliable. I know it seems a bit anal, but I'd just like to be 100% sure about what kind of company I'm investing money with.
