Hi there, Who is going to cancel there iBURST Account, if more stuff go wrong with WBS, I'm sure going to cancel sick and tired of not getting any response from WBS e-mail or Helpdesk, yes we'll call you right back and see what the problem is

RichardG, just cancel already. Stop threatening. Whether you cancel or 10 people cancel with you, doesn't matter. It's money that YOU will be saving.

Cancelling a service is a personal decision. Just make sure that you have alternative connectivity arranged, and installed, then cancel.

craigsa, just wondering if you've tried GPRS in both places, and if you need the """speed""" of iBurst in both places, i.e. if you could get ADSL in place [a], and use GPRS/3G in place and elsewhere where you're not going to be downloading lots - but just connected & need it for email & browsing [due to the cost of bandwidth].

Right now I'm using 3G to post this & it's a heck of a lot snappier than iBurst has been the last few days or so...

I will cancel as soon as I have found an alternative means to connect to the internet! WBS simply do not respond to my numerous requests and offers to sort things out relating to my account. And I do not tolerate a dictatorship telling me what mail servers I can and cannot use especially when I pay for the services.

I'll only cancel if they go through with the pay-per-usage crap or if something better and reasonably priced pops up.

Hey IC, pls buy me a Golf V GTI! VW can deliver it anytime.

I really suggest you investigate the costs properly - if you only need to use small amounts [GPRS/EDGE/3G charged per MB] then you could use your cellphone for GPRS - with some towers you can get up to 80kbits/s GPRS...all depends on what your on the move usage profile is - if you can discipline yourself to download the """iso images""" on ADSL and use your cellphone for connectivity on the move, then it can be affordable...
